Return Policy

We have a 30-day return policy. As long as we receive your sellable, unused/undamaged items back in the original manufacturer package on or before the 30th day after you ordered them, you can choose between receiving a refund: less shipping cost and 10% restock fee of your purchase price or a store credit.

If you pay for goods on this website using a credit/debit card or PAYPAL and then change your mind and want a refund, we will charge you the full amount of the non-refundable fee that third party bank charge us, which at the time of writing was a maximum of 3% of the total transaction amount. Therefore if we choose to provide a refund, we will only refund the remainder, not including the amount of the bank transaction fees.

We do not accept returns after the 30th day since we shipped your purchase. We do not refund shipping charges. All sales are final on clearance items and gift certificates. We honor the manufacturers’ warranty for our SeaGypsy kayaks only. You pay for the shipping to return an item to us.  All returns require a Return Authorization. This can be obtained by email. If you have a return, follow these four easy steps:

1.  Take a picture of the product so we can see the entire product, then take several closeup photos or video clips of each item in the package if there are more than one items. Do not modify or attempt to fix the product if damaged or factory defective. Inter-Island will assess first if the product needs to be replaced or not.  

2.  Pack the item carefully (use shipping supplies, if necessary) with the original manufacturer packaging, accessories, instructions, warranty information, tags, etc.

3.  Send the package to us with a reputable carrier/delivery service and make sure you receive a Tracking Number or a Bill of Lading. Consider insuring the package for your safety and include your order number or the invoice number on the shipping label.

4.  Complete the return form online.  We won't honor returns without this completed form.  Please attach the following items below before submitting the form: 

• Overall picture of the product so we can see the entire product, then take several closeup photos or video clips of each item in the package if there are more than one items. 
• Copy of your product receipt issued by Inter-Island when you purchase your product.
• Screenshot of your shipping info or Bill of Lading.

We will process your refund once we received your sellable, unused/undamaged item(s) in it's original package.  Please allow 7 to14 business days processing time to return the money to your account or to ship your product replacement.
